味酒(ｳﾏｻｹ)　三輪(ﾐﾜ)の山　あをによし　奈良(ﾅﾗ)の山の　山のまに　い隠(ｶｸ)るまで　道の隈(ｸﾏ)　　い積(ﾂ)るまでに　つばらにも　見つつ行かむを　しばしばも　見放(ﾐｻ)けむ山を　心なく　雲の　隠さふべしや

I want to continue gazing at the Miwa mountain until it is hidden behind the Nara mountain range and the path looks folded over and over again at the edge. How on earth the clouds hide it so mercilessly, the mountain I want to keep looking back at a number of times along the way?

味酒の三輪の山が、青土も美しい奈良の山の、山の際に隠れ、道の曲がり角が幾重にも重なるまで、しみじみと見つづけて行きたいと思うのに、幾度も眺めつつ行きたい山なのに、無情にも雲が隠してよいものか
