逢(ｱ)はむ夜(ﾖ)は いつもあらむを なにすとか その夕(ﾖﾋ)逢ひて 言(ｺﾄ)の繁しも
There are many nights we meet together.
Then why do people gossip about that night in particular?

お逢いする夜はいつでもありましたでしょうに、どうしてあの夜お逢いして、こんなに人の噂になってしまったのでしょう。
